Employment Law Advisor required in Peterborough area - Hybrid working option (HR Specialism)

Full-time, Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm permanent with hybrid working option
Salary is negotiable depending on experience, in region of £33-40,000
22 days annual leave + bank holidays + Christmas close-down
** No Time Recording or Billing Targets **

Our Client, a leading provider of legal support to the Motor Trade, are looking to expand their team and bring in an additional Legal Advisor to their Legal Team. This is a varied role and we are interested in finding the right person with that something extra to add to the uniqueness of our existing team of Legal Advisors. 

We are looking for someone with a focus on HR and Health & Safety, you'll ideally be CIPD qualified. That being said, the team work closely together and there could be involvement in other areas including Consumer Credit, Trading Standards, FCA, GDPR and miscellaneous other issues. 

You would be managing your own caseload of 25 to 40 new cases monthly and taking your turn on the Legal Helpline rota as well as writing legal updates for our website and providing opinions to trade magazines and, if you feel comfortable, taking part in podcasts, delivering training and presentations. 

The ideal candidate will:

Have a background in HR. Additional experience in the retail motor trade, legal/compliance sector, and/or completed LPC, or similar CILEX qualification, or equivalent experience in the legal field.
Strong team player with a flexible approach to work.
Capability to manage a diverse and interesting caseload.
Although you will be responsible for your own busy and varied caseload, there is a great team spirit and the team all support each other.
If you have experience within the motor industry that is a bonus, but more important is a positive attitude, a willingness to pitch in and sound legal experience. 

The team all currently work on a hybrid basis sharing their time between our office in the Peterborough and home, but we are currently investing in a state-of-the-art paperless system to enable remote working which could be an option for the right candidate.

This is a unique role with no time recording or billing targets.
