MET Technician Vacancy in Acton
Salary £36,400-£41,600 DOE + Overtime Available
Working hours Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm 1 hour lunch break
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MET (Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim) Technician to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and high-quality repair and maintenance of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dismantling and reassembling damaged vehicles in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Conducting pre-repair and post-repair quality checks.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard within set deadlines.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an MET Technician in a bodyshop environment.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and trim systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and repair manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications are advantageous.
