Warranty Director required for a Used Car Supermarket in Hinckley
Salary: £50-60k basic + Bonus + Company Car
38.5hr week Monday-Friday
We are seeking an experienced Director of Warranties to join our client's team. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving cost control, improving operational efficiencies, and ensuring legal and consumer rights compliance within our warranty operations.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Control: Oversee and manage warranty spend, goodwill costs, consumer rights-related costs, and legal expenditures.
Repair Network Management: Optimise repair networks, negotiate competitive rates, and identify savings opportunities.
Warranty Operations: Collaborate with warranty providers to ensure effective service delivery and cost efficiency.
Aftersales Support: Leverage aftersales expertise to manage costings and improve operational processes.
Consumer Rights Compliance: Ensure all warranty operations align with the Consumer Rights Act and other relevant regulations.
About You
We’re looking for a highly experienced and motivated professional who meets the following criteria:
Experience:
- Proven track record at a senior or director level.
- Warranty company experience is highly desirable.
- Solid background in aftersales management with a focus on cost control.
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of technical and mechanical operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Consumer Rights Act and legal frameworks.
Skills:
- Excellent leadership and negotiation abilities.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on driving savings and efficiencies.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams, repair networks, and warranty companies.
