As Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient running of the workshop, ensuring high levels of productivity, customer satisfaction, and staff engagement. You’ll oversee the day-to-day operations, manage resources, and ensure that all work is completed on time and to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate a team of technicians to achieve performance targets.
Plan and allocate work efficiently, balancing customer demands with workshop capacity.
Ensure all repairs and servicing meet manufacturer standards and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Monitor and improve workshop KPIs, including productivity, efficiency, and quality.
Build strong relationships with customers, addressing concerns and providing excellent service.
Manage workshop tools, equipment, and stock levels effectively.
Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and outstanding customer experience.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a similar role within a main dealer or automotive environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire a team.
In-depth technical knowledge of vehicle servicing and repairs.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
A full UK driving license.
